We would love to invite you to Rewild Portland’s “Rewild Skillshare”, our afternoon social networking event where people make new friends and hang out with friends and family while sharing skills, ideas and strategies for creating new cultures based on humanities ancestral heritage. We welcome all levels of experience.

What:
This month Rewild is teaming up with the Forest Hills Black Powder Brigade (http://www.fhbpb.com/) to bring you a Black Powder Shoot! The club will furnish pre 1840 caplock and flintlock rifles, pistols and shotguns. We will have different stations to shoot pistol, rifle, and shotgun/ tradegun (tradegun is a good one to look up)! We will also have an area for throwing knife and tomahawk and perhaps even a primitive archery range.

The club has a range and safety officer elected by the club on site. Peewee shooters are welcome as well. They will have to use crossed sticks to shoot. The front of the rifles are too heavy for them to be able to aim and shoot safely. With the crossed sticks, it makes for success! We can also overcome any disabilty anyone has with enough notice. We have covered areas in case of rain, but the shooting will be out in the weather, so dress appropriate.

We will break for a lunch of stew. It will have meat. Probably deer, elk, bear, beaver and squirrel, with lots of fresh vegetables and seasonings. There will be a grill for anyone who wants to bring their own.

Where:
Paradise Acres
10700 Jerusalem Hill Rd NW
Salem, OR 97304

When:
Saturday, April 27th
11am – 4pm

Materials to bring (we will have extra):
• There is a mandatory $1 entrance fee for this skillshare aside from our asking donation of $5-10.
• Water. There is no running water on the site, but we will have some large jugs of potable water there.
• Cup, plate or bowl, and silverware for lunch.
