Description:
Spend the day on a beach where otters play. Climb to the top of an extinct volcano. Get lost in North America’s biggest city park, and hunt for crayfish and mussels in a creek. We will travel to 5 of Portland’s wildest places. You won’t feel like you’re in the city at all! We will teach ancient survival arts. Build a fire with your own bow drill. Craft a basket out of invasive ivy plants. Make a healing salve out of medicinal plants and learn to track animals. Camp meets at Carnegie Annex (2909 SW 2nd Avenue in Lair Hill Park).
When:
August 5th – 9th. Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.
